Sandwich Generation Month -
The Sandwich Generation comprises adults who are “sandwiched” between the two generations for whom they care: their children and their own aging parents. Sandwich Generation Month (every July) is an annual commemoration and celebration of the dedication, patience and caring of adults who are part of the Sandwich Generation. New to the Sandwich Generation Month website is Sandwich Generation Connections, a group of resources for family members and caregivers of older adults and those living with disabilities. Families can find items such as transfer boards, wheelchairs, crutches, and many more assistive devices that are available for loan or temporary use.
